 About Us

Welcome to Christian.com take just a few minutes to read the following, and learn what Christian.com is all about.

About This Site:

Christian.com.com is a new Christian alternative to other popular community sites.  We strive to create the cleanest, easiest to use community on the web. This is a beautiful web based community that we can be proud to dedicate to God. We offer a clean site where believers can have fellowship and grow with one another. It is a place that we can all work toward the common goal of glorifying God. It’s not "My" space; It’s "His" space...a place to come together with a servant's heart to truly glorify Him.

This site is also for seekers, who are open to the truth, and are truly seeking Him. All true seekers are welcome, however if you are not truly a seeker and your only desire will be to displease God. This site is not for you and you will be removed and/or suspended. I recommend all seekers to check this out first:

NeedGod.com

As for believers, I am by no means stating that this has to be an alternative, and not an addition to other community sites. I do think it is important that we reach out to the lost, and continue to witness with our words and actions, on the secular community sites. We do also believe that dedicating our time with fellow believers, and to God is what Christ has called us to do as well. We are to live in the world but not be of the world, and by maintaining our family in Christ as well as our concern for the lost, we will do both. I p
ray we can learn from one another, to better honor and serve Him in all we do.

Please build your profile for Him. You can use same HTML codes and objects that all the other community sites allow. Enjoy and remember to follow the rules. I would imagine a site full of sheep, can notice a wolf if they show up. The Christian.com Servants (Site Admin Team) are here to serve you, and the Guardian Angels are there to watch out for you. Let me know if there is anything you would like to discuss. God Bless.

I have been asked: What made you want to create Christian.com? The answer is below:

I want to make clear, why I have felt the need and urgency to create Christian.com. After being on a very popular worldly community site for about 6 weeks, I quickly realized that there was not much that was not allowed on that site. There was no out right pornography, but definitely enough to tempt ones mind into the sin of lust. I also saw that it was such a buffet of different people that were all lumped into one big site. I do not have a problem with this except when it seems you can not express yourself without getting absolutely thrashed by those who oppose your position. Is debate good? I think so when done in a healthy formatted way, but what I was finding there was not. It was simply scoffing, and spitting at the view of Christianity. People were allowed to post graphic images, blasphemous statements, etc. and if you asked for it to stop, well it would only get worse. You would now become the judgmental one.

After many attempts to try and look past all this, and continue to try and bring the light of Gospel into this dark place, it became apparent very quickly that it was a battlefield, and there were far more troops opposing Christianity then speaking up for it.

I do not think that everyone should have to conform to Christianity and in fact, I know they all will not. I also did not expect that persecution would not occur, but what I did not expect is that there was literally no where I could find on this huge community site, that was safe to fellowship and grow with other Christians. I joined 10 different Christian groups on that site thinking that I would be able to find fellowship, and Iron sharpening Iron. It was so sad, when it was revealed that even within the Christian groups there were so many with names like Lucifer, and other VERY offensive names, as well as all kinds of blasphemous names. These members would just continuously attack Christianity, never allowing for any fellowship or growth among brothers and sisters. It was a constant defense of our position. It grew very tiresome. I kept feeling as if Christians had 2 choices:

Put up with what a worldly un-Godly community site offers,

Or do not belong to an online community.

The question arose “Why is it that Christians do not have the right to have a safe place to be 0nline together to grow, and fellowship with one another”? The answer is we do have every right to this; the same way every worldly group has the right to have a place they choose to call home.

Now as someone who personally has the heart of an evangelist, and yes I am one of those wacky guys that actually approaches people and shares the Gospel, but before your mind starts wandering too far. No I do not stand on a bench screaming Turn or Burn. I follow a biblical approach that is taught by a ministry called “Way of The Master”. Anyone who knows this ministry knows the emphasis on evangelism.

What Christian.com is meant to do, is encourage, and help in showing others how to actually be effective in sharing the Gospel. So that when they go on these other sites, which are so worldly, they can be effective in sharing the Good News, and after a long battle on these sites. Christians who are tired, need fed, prayed for, and fellowshipped with can find HHS. It was never meant to be an alternative to separate from the world, it is simply an additional site, that I strongly feel is needed for Christians to have for growth, strengthening, rest and prayer, as we go into the battle, so we can be a true light into this dark world.

Christian.com is heavily monitored, by the Site Admin Team as well as the entire community does wonderful job policing itself. Between the community and the backing of Christian.com we have truly created a safe clean site that’s main purpose is to glorify God.

God Bless you all and we truly are doing this all for Him.

Christian.com Mission Statement

A site where believers come together for: fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and counsel. To follow The Lord’s word in Philippians:

Philippians 2:1-2 Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Encouragement: means to come alongside and help, counsel, exhort.

Comfort: portrays the Lord coming close and whispering gentle cheer or tender counsel in a believer’s ear.

Fellowship: refers to the partnership, of common eternal life, provided by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Affection and Mercy: God has extended His deep affection and compassion to every believer and that reality should result in unity.

Fulfill my joy: Paul’s joy was tied to concern for the unity of believers.

Like-minded: means to “Think the same way” this exhortation is not optional or obscure but is repeated throughout the NT (cf. Rom 15:5; 1Cor. 1:10; 2Cor. 13:11-13)

Same love: believers are to love others in the body of Christ equally-not because they are equally attractive, but by showing the same kind of sacrificial, loving service to all that was shown to them by Christ.

One accord: this may also be translated “united in spirit” and perhaps is a term specially coined by Paul. It literally means “one-souled” and describes people who are knit together in harmony, having the same desires, passions, and ambitions.

One mind: means to be intent on one purpose.  (To glorify God)
